Tech Tip: Syncing Shared Folders in OneDrive to File Explorer

  1. Go to OneDrive on the Web
    Visit onedrive.live.com and log in with your Microsoft 365 account.

  2. Access Shared Content
    Click on “Shared” in the left menu to view files and folders others have shared with you.

  3. Add Shortcut to File Explorer

    • Click into the shared folder you want.
    • In the top menu, select “Add shortcut to My files.”
  4. Sync with OneDrive on Windows

    • Ensure your OneDrive client is running and signed in.
    • Open File Explorer and go to the “OneDrive – MPI Oilfield” folder.
    • The shared folder will now appear as a shortcut.
