1. In the search bar at the bottom of the computer screen search for "printers"


2. Click on the printer


3. Click on the printer and select Manage



4. Select Printer properties


5. Click the Ports tab and verify the TCP/IP port with the printers IP address is selected (IP address is displayed on the printer screen), click apply.

If TCP/IP port is not selected or displayed in the list, click Add port... then Standard TCP/IP port click New Port... type in the printers IP address displayed on the printers screen. Click Next. 


6. Click the Advanced tab and verify the best driver is selected (will have the name of the printer and model number) and click apply, if you do not see the driver from the drop-down menu IT Support can install it for you.


7. Verify network setting are set to Private (Note: Network configurations needs to be set to private for communication with other devices on the network)

8. Set printer as default and print a test page. 

 

9. To set defaults select Printer preferences 


10. Select your printing preferences then click Apply.
